September 10, 2026.  Supervision Workshop Day 2 - Using Telehealth, Virtual Supervision & other Technology Issues

This workshop will be conducted using the Zoom platform. 

This interactive, 6-hour workshop covers many different aspects of the ever increasing need for clinical supervisor's to be aware of the latest technologies, including changes in social media platforms, mental health apps used by clients and AI's role in the mental health landscape.  Issues surrounding providing virtual supervision are discussed as are ethical issues related to virtual supervision, telehealth and the use of AI in mental health practice. This workshop also delves into the different issues supervisor's must be aware of when talking with supervisees who may encounter their clients on these technology platforms.  A sample social media policy is provided.  Discussion on employer's rights and limitations in terms of what employees are allowed to discuss about the workplace on social media portals and what employers should and should not do as it relates to developing a social media policy in the workplace. Also includes discussion of emerging technologies such as virtual reality therapy, the counseling compact bill, mental health apps and AI.

This workshop runs from 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m.

Those who need 30 contact hour certification need to sign up for the 4 day workshop series.

All workshop days run from 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.  Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. Price on or before August 26, 2026 is $119.00 for the workshop series.  Price between August 27, 2026 and September 7, 2026 is $130 for each workshop date.
